Pricing and Images
At Sportbike Solutions, we make every effort to maintain accurate product descriptions,
images, and pricing. However, due to vendor pricing changes, product changes,
and sometimes simple human error, there may be rare cases where the price /
description reflected on our website may not be current. In such cases, if the
actual price is higher than what is listed, or the item description has changed,
we will contact you immediately, and give you the option of either modifying
or canceling your order, if that is your wish. And if the actual price is lower
than that listed on our website, you will be charged the lower of the two prices.
The majority of the product images used in our online store are exact representations
of the parts they describe. However, we may use the same image for select
parts that vary little if any between applications, or that only differ
in packaging (such as brake pads, clip-ons, etc). If for any reason we do
use an image that differs significantly from the actual part (as sometime
happens when adding new parts to our catalog), we will clearly note the
discrepancy in the product description. We will gladly provide an actual
image for such products, if possible, upon request.
Payment, Cancellation, & Refunds
Sportbike Solutions processes Visa, Mastercard, and Discover
payments instantly through our highly-secure Authorize.net gateway (utilizing
full 128-bit SSL encryption). We also accept credit card payments placed
over the phone, as well as cashiers checks and money orders. Checks and
money orders will be held until payment clears before products are shipped.
Orders may be canceled without penalty, and entitled to a
full refund, within 48-hours of placing the order, or before the order ships,
whichever comes first. In cases where a credit or debit card was used for
payment, the full amount will be credited back to the card used to place
the order within five (5) days after the request to cancel. A request to
cancel can be submitted either by phone or e-mail. Orders canceled after
48 hours, but before the product(s) ship, will be refunded in full less
a processing fee equaling 2% of the purchase amount. Orders can only be
returned after the products ship, subject to our terms listed on our 'Shipping
& Returns' page.
Price Matching
Sportbike Solutions will only match or beat the advertised
sale price of product(s) sold by a competing merchant when the product in
question is identical to the product we offer for sale, when the merchant's
authenticity and the advertised price can be confirmed, and when the price
to match exceeds our cost in acquiring, selling, and shipping the part(s).
Sales tax, where applicable, is not included in our match price. The price
to match must be posted on the competing merchant website, or posted in
current literature / promotionals distributed to the general public. Prices
posted on auction sites such as eBay, internet forums, or other similar
media will only be matched at our discretion. Where free or reduced-cost
shipping is part of our price match, the shipping agent used and method
of shipment will be entirely up to us (in most cases, UPS/Fed-Ex Ground,
or USPS Priority). Price matching cannot be combined with any additional discounts, specials, or incentives. Sportbike Solutions reserves the right to change the terms
of our price matching program as we see fit, at any time, without notice,
excepting outstanding orders.
Parts Installation, Fitment, and Use
Many of the parts and accessories sold by Sportbike Solutions
are designed for competition and racing purposes. As such, we make no guarantees
as to their suitability for street use. Depending on the item, some modification/fabrication/alterations
may be necessary for proper fit and function. We recommend our parts only
be installed by qualified mechanics, or those possessing the skills and
abilities suitable to the task at hand. Sportbike Solutions is not responsible
or liable for any material losses, damages or injuries incurred due to rider
error, improper installation or use, mechanical failure, manufacturing defects,
or acts of nature.
Now that we've got the legalese out of the way, however, remember
that we're always here to help with any questions you may have regarding use
or installation of our products.
Warranties
Sportbike Solutions LLC is primarily a retailer/reseller of race-oriented
motorcycle parts and accessories. As such, we offer no warranties or guarantees
on the products we sell over and above those offered by the manufacturer(s).
We will, however, happily assist our customers in filing any warranty claims
if necessary.
