This is the finest clutch lever assembly we sell, and the finest we've seen. The CRG GP Clutch Lever is feature packed, and targetted towards professional road-racing.
Like the Supersport clutch, the GP model incorporates a variable leverage ratio, allowing the rider to increase or decrease the amount of force required to pull the lever, as well as tune the clutch modulation for improved clutch control, particularly when feathering it out during downshifts. With 30mm, 26mm, and 22mm pivot-to-anchor positions, riders can customize their clutch lever pull to their liking.
Unlike the Supersport, the GP clutch is infinitely adjustable for static positioning, via a micro-adjuster knob, allowing for variances in hand size, grip diameter, glove thickness, and hand fatigue.
A large diameter detent-click adjuster wheel is augmented with an ingenious ratcheting thumb pad, which allows for fast and easy cable slack adjustments, without removing your hand from the grip! Each press of the thumb lever equates to a 60-degree turn of the detent wheel.
A ball-bearing pivot design, coupled with two 16mm outer diameter shell bearings spaced in a wide clevis configuration, provide unmatched slop-free, friction free lever action.
Crash protection is addressed in two ways. First, like the Supersport clutch, the perch mounts to your 7/8" handlebars/clipons with a teflon sleeve, which allows the entire assembly to rotate around the bar in crash situations, minimizing damage to the unit. The GP clutch also includes a folding lever assembly, which allows the entire lever to deflect upwards upon impact, often leaving the assembly virtually unharmed where other levers would be reduced to paperweights.
The GP Clutch Lever is available only in the Hard-Anodized Grey Finish
This clutch assembly is not model-specific, is meant for race use only, and is not guaranteed to work with all applications. If you have any questions regarding fitment, we'll be happy to assist you.
