This 2002-2005 Ducati 600 IE Monster X-L-R-Ator Street Chain and Sprocket Kit improves acceleration and drive in all gears, while remaining completely 'streetable'. Combining D.I.D.'s Premium X-Ring VM-Series Motorcycle Chain with high-quality steel sprockets from Drive Systems USA, this kit is also stronger and longer lasting than stock. The package is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for your OEM bits, and includes everything you need (other than tools), including a rivet-type master link (the only type you should EVER use!).

The front sprocket is cut from solid chromoly steel, while the rear steel sprocket is heat treated and coated in a long lasting black finish. Unlike aftermarket aluminum sprockets, these steel units last a long, long time! The DID VM X-ring chain is in almost all cases both lighter and stronger than stock, with less horsepower-robbing friction thanks to the patented X-Ring design.

Chain pitch (size) conforms to stock specifications, while sprocket tooth counts have been changed from stock to provide the equivalent of going 3 teeth up in the rear (we say equivalent because on some models, we reduce the front sprocket tooth count to achieve the same relative gearing). The net result is faster acceleration with minimal impact on top-end speed. In fact, since most production motorcycles are incapable of reaching redline in top gear with stock gearing, X-L-R-Ator Street Kits often allow you to hit your previous top speed quicker!
